At Woodfalls Elite, we take great care to ensure our pieces are not only timeless in design but also responsibly made. Every product adheres to a strict framework of compliances that reflect our commitment to sustainability, quality, and care.

Our Eastern Collections supplier

This supplier is a small, family owned company specialising in up-cycling and recycling furniture from India. They provide skilled employment to 40 workers including skilled carpenters and artisan painters whose skills give furniture a new lease of life. The work is relatively well paid due to it being skilled work and we have visited them on several occasions and found a well organised environment with a happy workforce. Almost all of the wood is recycled and if any new wood is used then it is from sustainable sources such as mango wood. They care passionately about the environment, produce no waste materials and use recycled packaging materials. They support several local charities, including an organisation that teaches blind students, an organisation that supports homeless children and a local project that feeds and looks after homeless animals. Their policies align with the 10 Principles of Fair Trade as set out by the WFTO, THE World Fair Trade Organisation.

Timber Compliances

• Treated with *Biflex*, an eco-friendly timber protection method, ensuring durability while safeguarding environmental standards.

Packaging Compliances

• In accordance with the UK Waste Packaging Regulations, this piece carries a packaging weight of 10.9kg (box weight 49.1kg, product weight 38.2kg).

Aftercare

• Avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight or near radiators to prevent natural movement and fading.
• Maintain non-painted surfaces with an occasional application of beeswax polish to preserve sheen and enhance longevity.

Caution

• For harmonious interiors, we recommend bespoke orders if you wish to mix and match across product ranges, minimising the risk of slight colour variations due to different timber batches.
